These terms cover the CutPico website and the browser background-removal tool on it. By using the site you accept them. Last updated: 29 September 2026.

The service

CutPico is a free web tool that removes the background from an image you choose. It has no accounts, no subscription and no payment step. The tool runs in your browser.

Your images and your results

Your photos stay on your device; we never receive them. You keep the rights you hold in the images you process and in the cutouts you create, and we add no watermark and claim no ownership of them. You are responsible for having the rights needed to use and process each image, and for checking that the result is suitable before you publish or sell it.

Acceptable use

Please do not use the site to:

• process images you do not have the right to use, or content that is unlawful;
• attack, overload or disrupt the site, or try to reach parts of it that are not public;
• scrape or automate the site in a way that harms other visitors' access.

Availability and changes

We aim to keep the tool available and correct, but the site is offered as it is and may change or be unavailable at any time. Features, input limits and supported formats can change; the current limits are described in the how-it-works guide.

No warranties

Automatic background removal is an estimate rather than an exact cut. The site is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not promise that a cutout will be accurate or that edges will be clean, and a file you produce may not fit a particular project. Check results before relying on them.

Limits of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the site or from results produced by it. Nothing here limits rights that cannot be limited by law.
